The problem with just planting more trees is that is only temporary. When trees die the carbon is released again. Its not destroyed. The problem is we are taking carbon from permanant storage in the ground and applying it to the atmosphere. I dont believe however that it is warming earth. It may be the cause to rising acidity levels in the ocean though, which is quite a bad problem as that will lead to death of most of the seas life. But i wont say thats for sure. Its bad if that is true.
